COVID-19 support for Schools and Colleges

Schools and Colleges are preparing for a return of their students in September.

The government has indicated a massive summer school program to help those students who have missed 6 months of lessons catch up.

OFQUAL are already indicating a review of how the 2021 exams will be assessed to make sure that no students are disadvantaged.

If you are thinking about moving to a 2 week timetable where half your students are in class having face to face teaching, and the other half are set work to do at home, there will need to be some way of checking on progress or providing support for the students not in lesson.

I can provide 1:1 support or workshop based tutorials for the following subjects:

• GCSE maths (Foundation Tier)

• GSCE Computing

• GCSE Biology

• L2 BTEC IT

• L3 BTEC IT

• L3 BTEC Computing

• A level Biology

• A Level Computing

In addition, for GCSE and A Level computing, I can provide online lessons that would run in parallel with the classroom teacher, for those students who are still unhappy about returning to school. This would mean that a transition from online to face to face teaching would be seamless.

Finally I can also provide private tuition to work closely with your classroom teacher and the student to make sure that everyone is working together to help the student catch up.
