Resource Purchase Terms and Conditions

All resources developed, except where stated, are copyright of TheComputingTutor

'Institution' means any Further Education institution delivering BTEC Level 3, including (but not limited to) Sixth Form Colleges, UTCs, FE colleges and school or academy sixth forms.

Payment is to be made by BACS transfer only.

Cancellation requests must be placed in writing within 14 days of placing the order otherwise the order will need to be paid in full. If your order has been fulfilled then no cancellation, refund or exchange is possible, so please make sure you are ordering the correct resources.

Any order placed represents a contract between the Education Provider (Institution or member of staff) and TheComputingTutor. If an order is placed by an Education Provider and not paid, the Education Provider will be liable to pay the full amount of the order.

Once payment has cleared or a formal, valid PO has been provided, a link will be emailed to the email address of your institution that will be valid for 30 days that will allow you to download your resources.

Emails can only be from valid, current educational institutions and requests for purchase can only be from current members of staff.

Purchase requests from private or business email accounts will be automatically deleted.

TheComputingTutor cannot be held responsible for any modification to any assessed grades or disqualification of any Candidate or group of Candidates as a result of the use of these resources.

The resources, when downloaded, are for educational use only and are not to be copied, reprinted or distributed by any electronic, mechanical, or other current or future means outside of the educational institution without written formal consent from TheComputingTutor Ltd.

Once the email containing resource links has been sent out, that represents the end of the purchasing transaction.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to download their resources within the 30 day period (defined as from the date and time when the resource email was sent out).

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify TheComputingTutor Ltd. that the email containing resource links has been successfully received. If the email has not been received, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify TheComputingTutor Ltd. immediately.

If TheComputingTutor Ltd. is notified after the 30 Day period that the email containing resource links has not been received, any request to resend the links will be at the discretion of TheComputingTutor Ltd, and may require the re-purchase of the resources.

If TheComputingTutor Ltd. is notified after the 30 Day period that the resources have not been downloaded, any request to resend the links will be at the discretion of TheComputingTutor Ltd, and may require the re-purchase of the resources.

If TheComputingTutor Ltd. is notified after the 60 Day period (defined as from the date and time when the resource email was sent out) that the email has not been received, this will require the re-purchase of the resources.

If TheComputingTutor Ltd. is notified after the 60 Day period that the resources have not been downloaded, this will require the re-purchase of the resources.

Once the email has been sent out and the transaction completed, if the purchaser wishes to download these resources again for whatever reason, this will constitute a separate transaction and the purchaser will need to re-purchase the resources, at any updated price.

If the purchaser notifies TheComputingTutor Ltd. about any errors, and updates are produced, the purchaser is entitled to these updates free of charge.

The resources are to be used for educational purposes only and are not to be used for home or personal use.

If any resources are purchased by a school or college that belongs to a Multi Academy Trust (MAT), then these resources belong to the purchasing institution partner ONLY and not to the overall Academy Trust. Any institution found sharing these resources with other schools or colleges or other academic Partners in their Academy Trust will be held liable for breach of copyright.

If any resources are purchased by a school or college that is split across multiple campuses or sites, then these resources belong to the purchasing campus or site only and not to the overall institution. Any institution found sharing these resources with other campuses will be held liable for breach of copyright.

If any resources are purchased by a school or college that the subsequently merges with another institution, or joins a Multi Academy Trust, then the resources and contract of purchase are with the purchasing institution ONLY and CANNOT be transferred to the partner institution or any other institution within the MAT. Should the merging partner or MAT wish these resources, they will need to place a separate order.
