The Computing Tutor

All revision courses will take place in the computer rooms within the Henley College.

​

Enrolled students will be expected to access their revision material on learnzone

​

Students will be able to take any resources away with them on a USB memory stick.

​

It is assumed that the exam board will be AQA and that the programming language used is C#.

​

All courses will be in two sessions:

​

9:00 - introduction and welcome

9:15 - 12:30 - morning session

12:30 - 13:00 - Lunch

13:00 - 16:00 - afternoon session

​

Please note lunch will NOT be provided, students will need to bring a packed lunch

​

It is the students responsibility to provide their own transport to and from the college

​

Students do not need to bring laptops, as college machines will be available for use.

​

Course fees are will be specified in the course booking information.

A typical session may involve

​

• Covering any questions from the group

• Identifying common areas of difficulty

• Individual activities

• Group activities

• Practice past paper questions with access to textbooks

• Practice past paper questions under exam conditions
